A/Rhythm Heartbeat Detector

A/Rhythm Heartbeat Detector is a physical map of our historical connections. The project follows social, political, and artistic experiences in our bodies. It traces how migration, gender, sex/uality, violence, resistance and class connect and separate us. In their works, the participating artists embark on a search that seeks to connect and expand individual and shared stories in dialog with the audience. Em’s Place was one of these works.
