A/Rhythm Heartbeat Detector

A/Rhythm Heartbeat Detector is a physical map of our historical connections. The project traces individual and collective histories of social, political, and artistic experiences in our bodies. It traces knowledge and experiences about how migration, gender, sexuality, violence, resistance and social positioning connect us – and separate us from each other. In their works, the participating artists embark on this search for traces and seek to connect and expand personal and shared stories in dialog with the audience. Em’s Place was one of these works.
