There is an original before the original.
First I created a head-like sculpture out of an abandoned hornets’ nest and bees' wax - the later solely used as column of the neck.
As I realized that this work is to tender to leave the studio, I looked for possibilities to transform it into a tougher version of itself that can go outside.
This sculpture then was 3D Print of a digital scan. Due to the substantial differences in appearance, sturdiness and material it became another Original rather than cast.
