Adire is a Yoruba textile art form.
This fabric came to me - with the name Sliding attached to it on a written/drawn sticky note - from Adedoyin Faniyi via our mutual friend Marion Steiner. I decided to just cut out a hole for the head which I could implant again. Then the fabric is stitched into a dress just by dots, not lines.
And it keeps sliding.
