Viereck mit Rot is inspired by the visit of my friend Tova to Vienna.
I bought the fabric from an elder working class woman in the Waldviertel. During my search for second hand fabric she was recommended to me by her sister-in-law for all the fabric she owns. She bought the fabric when a local textile producing company went bankrupt. Her late husband worked for the company as a driver.
